2 -3rd: Murray To Moyne Cycle Relay
Woody’s Murray To Moyne is a 24-hour, 540-kilometre cycle relay, from either Mildura, Swan Hill or Echuca to Port Fairy. The fund-raising ride is simply a ride – not a race – and allows teams to raise money for hospitals and health organisations across Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. It started as a small challenge between friends in 1987, and in 2009 saw 1435 riders raise more than $1.25 million for 150 health-related organisations. 16th: Mutton Birds depart 
The Mutton Birds are a spectacular example of the natural life cycle that Port Fairy is lucky to share with the wider community. The Shearwaters have an annual migration cycle to the Pacific Ocean. Their lifecycle really is fascinating – they generally return to the breeding area on the same day each year and occupy the same nest as the previous year, with the same breeding partner. They usually return on September 22, after a 15,000 kilometre, two-month voyage that passes Japan and skirts the coast of North America.

17th: Laang Vintage Engine Rally
This stalwart of the Moyne Shire events calendar features vintage cars, trucks, machinery and motorbikes, ferret races, a tractor and 4WD pull, crosscut saw championships, model airplane displays, and vintage shearing demonstrations.

29th, 30th April and 1st May: Koroit Irish Festival
Come to Koroit, Australia's Irish heartland, for a weekend where you will swear you are back in Ireland.
Great Irish Music and host of the Austrailan Danny Boy Championships and Australian Spud picking Championships.
