Koroit Irish Festival secures first international act

Exciting news for the Koroit Irish Festival! The festival, to be held in the distinctly Irish town of Koroit on Friday April 30, Saturday May 1 and Sunday May 2, has just secured the first international act in its 14 year history - The Craic Hooers.

The Irish all-girl, three-piece band describes itself as traditional and eclectic. It has toured Ireland extensively and is now tackling Australia.

The band is made up of Avril Sweeney on guitar, mandolin and spoons, Michelle Kettle on percussion, tin whistle and flute and Sharon Hussey on vocals, fiddle, mandolin, whistles and guitar.
