Tours of Moyne volcanic sites - Mount Eccles and Tower Hill

Tours of two of Moyne Shire's amazing volcanic sites are planned during Victoria Tourism Week, which starts on September 6th and runs through until September 11.

The first on Wednesday, 8 September is a guided tour of Mount Eccles, including the Lava Tunnel Cave. Mount Eccles is a national park rich with wildlife and native species. There are a huge amount of fascinating volcanic attributes, caused when the volcano erupted. This day will highlight the incredible array of geological formations - in a spectacular, scenic setting.

The second, on Friday, 10 September is an Indigenous experience at the Tower Hill State Game Reserve. Enjoy Indigenous cultural experiences, interpretive tours and wildlife stories at dormant volcano and State Game Reserve Tower Hill, near the Irish Village of Koroit.
