Vintage and veteran cars roll into Port Fairy
Twenty-five vintage and veteran Hudson motor cars cruised into Port Fairy today as part of their tour through the Western District. The last Hudson
vehicles were made in 1954 when the company was taken over by the Nash Motor Car Company and subsequently by Chrysler. Some of the cars have fantastic art deco style radiator grills and hood ornaments and others are straight out of 1940s era movies. Beautifully restored and maintained, their owners spent the day enjoying the sights and tastes of Port Fairy before heading off to the next destination.
