Tower Hill Lavender now open

With the long winter finally looking like it will soon be behind us, it is great to see sunshine and our seasonal spring/summer activities and events coming back on the calendar. A must do during any visit to our region is a stop off at Tower Hill Lavender, which has just reopened after the long winter break. Tower Hill Lavender is a boutique lavender and olive farm which is now open  for the flowering season.  Beautifully situated on the rim of Tower Hill the farm offers spectacular views across the lavender as well as the Tower Hill reserve. With more than 100 varieties of lavender and 3000 commercial lavender plants, the farm looks spectacular. Tower Hill Lavender features a distillery where you can actually see the lavender oil being extracted from the flowers, and there is a large range of lavender and olive products to try and to purchase. Tower Hill Lavender really is a feast for all the senses. Open Thursday – Sunday,  10am – 4.30pm October 1st to 2nd Sunday in May, there is ample parking and entry is free.
