Open gardens signal bloom of spring

It's definitely spring! Some of the great gardens of the region are opening their gates to the public in the coming weekends.

31st October - Hawkesdale Kindergarten have arranged for the "Spring Creek" and "Green Hills" gardens to open. Both are on Minhamite - Caramut Rd Minhamite, Cost is $10 for both or $6 each. Sausage sizzle, Devonshire teas, and refreshments will be available. Green Hills is a beautiful old bluestone house and magnificent bluestone stables and a gorgeous rose garden.

21st November - The picturesque, historic garden at Woolsthorpe's historic Union homestead  will be open on Sunday, November 21, as part of a Garden Party and Christmas Bizarre fund-raiser for Warrnambool's Rotary House. More information
