Girls hit the surf at East Beach

It's time to hit the waves ladies, so polish up your surfboards and get ready for the Ripcurl Girls Go Surfing event, which is coming to Port Fairy's East Beach on Sunday, November 28.

The annual global surfing event, which aims to encourage girls to have a go at surfing, is held with participating surf schools all around the country. Go Surf Port Fairy is hosting the local event and is one of only five Victorian surf schools participating this year.

The $50 entry fee includes a surf lesson, board and wetsuit hire, a showbag and a Ripcurl souvenir singlet.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the Ripcurl website at www.ripcurl.com.au and must be sent to the closest participating surf school. In Port Fairy this is:
