Surfs Up in Port Fairy

If you're ever had the urge to ride the waves then Port Fairy is the place to be this summer.

Local surf shops have been holding surfing and paddleboard lessons throughout the Moyneyana Festival, with lessons continuing right through until Australia Day. Suba Diving lessons are also being held each morning.

If you're keen to get under the waves then try the scuba diving lessons,9am every morning at South Beach. You can book your spot at the Surf Shop on 5568 2800 or 0433 755 553, or head down to see what its all about and book for the following session. They hold another session at 1pm for those who can't make it out of bed.

Surfers have two options at 10am - the Surf Shop holds lessons each morning at East Beach, book by calling 5568 2800. Go Surf has its 2 hour class also at East Beach, with bookings on 0408 310 001.

If paddleboarding is more your thing that join the stand up paddleboard lessons at South Beach each afternoon between 4pm and 6pm. The coast is $50 and you can book on 0408 310 001.
