Folkie weekend update

With an amazing weekend of music and entertainment in Port Fairy, there are some changes to traditional opening hours and events. Please remember:

·         Clonmara Tea Rooms will be trading all day on Monday 14th from 9am till 4.30pm

·         The Historical Museum, Motts Cottage and The Little Dolls House Museum will not be opening this weekend

·         Whalebone Gallery - Guest artist for the month of March is Rachel Peters. Rachel's body of work revolves around layers, in history in maps, in stories. The paintings, collages & sculptures are a visual exploration of this. They have texture & forms which entice the viewer to engage with the layers. You can meet the artist at Whalebone Gallery on the 11th of March for a drink & be entertained by Celtic rock group Anair from 5 pm until 7.30 pm

·         All buses are departing from Port Fairy after 6pm on Friday from the cnr Bank & James Streets,  this will be the case until Monday  2pm

·         The Stag restaurant will be CLOSED thus Saturday night -- they’re off to the Folkie but will be open Sunday and Monday nights as per normal

·         Merrijig Restaurant is closed until Tuesday night – they are off to the folkie as well!!

·         Time and Tide will also be open on Monday from 12 – 4pm  (Sat, Sun and Mon).  Don’t forget that you need to book.
