Fast local films screen this week

Join the Port Fairy Film Society for a screening of the winning films from the 2010 15/15 International Touring Film Festival this Friday.

Each year filmmakers from across the world participate in the festival, which requires them to make a short 15 minute film within 15 hours. In 2010 two films were completed locally and will be screened at the Reardon Theatre on Friday from 7pm.

The two local films are:

No Not Nana's
by James Russell of Warrnambool
Connor doesn't like staying at his nana's. It's not just her cooking there's something else not quite right but a bit off fishing with his mate Finn and he soon forgets about the chicken neck stew that nana's making for tea.

Love Match
directed by Steve Miller, producer Simon Boyd
A comedy about two couples, one matching up, the other breaking up. Nominated for best Comedy and Best Actor in the 2010 15/15 International Short Film Festival.

WHEN: Friday 29th October 2010, Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start
VENUE: Reardon Theatre, Bank Street, Port Fairy
ADMISSION FREE

Festival Director, Amadeo Marquez-Perez will be presenting the films. The night will end with a Q & A with Amadeo and our Local Film makers.
